Maddy was a Little West Highland White Terrier or Westie.    Maddy came to the farm in 2008, she was a beautiful little puppy with a huge personality. Maddy was full of life, inquisitive, friendly and vibrant. Maddy was my baby.  Maddy was tragically ran over in 2011 by a neighbor that had come to visit.  Everyone that knew her grieved.  I started thinking about writing down all of the little stories about Maddy to keep her memory alive for me.  In 2012 I found out that I was going to be a grandmother and my desire to write down these stories to share with my grandchild solidified.  I started writing.  The result is The Maddy Chronicles, a 10 story series all based on true adventures of my Maddy.  In 2015 after finding out my second grandchild was on the way,  I asked my sister-in-law Margaret Cavers May if she would be interested in illustrating the stories and she immediately agreed.  Here we are today fulfilling the dream of making my Maddy come alive not only for my grandchildren but for other children across the world.  Enjoy!
