About the Author
In her first book, Charlene M. Cavers has drawn on her childhood experiences on the farm to bring Maddy the Westie to life for young readers. A grandmother of three, Charlene originally wrote about her pet dog so that she could read the stories to her grandchildren. A strong believer in the power of books to educate and entertain children, Charlene is now sharing her stories with the world.
After raising her two sons on the family farm, and retiring from a successful career in the medical field, Charlene now lives with her partner, Dave, and travels between Fort St. John, British Columbia and Berwyn, Alberta. |
